Reach the base of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most sacred mountaintop temple. Choose your ascent: climb the famous 306-step Naga staircase, flanked by two spectacular seven-headed serpent guardians with glittering mosaic tiles, or take the quick and easy funicular ride. At the top, explore the serene temple complex featuring a gleaming golden chedi that enshrines a holy Buddha relic.
